Large Zenith console with beautiful wood grain, push button tuning, wave-magnet antenna and 12" speaker. This is a very nice radio. Six tubes. 80 lb. About 43"H x 29"W x 16"D.
Bright green tuning eye, 3 band Console Radio made in 1940.
Beautifully refinished cabinet. The cabinet was stripped down to the original patina, re-stained, and various shades toner were applied. It was then given several coats of lacquer.
New grille cloth and new knobs. Chassis has been recapped along with all resistors. Antenna with new reproduction dust cover. The radio plays very well with good reception on AM and SW.
The tuner was removed, cleaned, and re-lubricated. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced, as well as all out-of-tolerance resistors, and all bad wiring. The tubes were checked, and any weak ones were replaced.
We even added an aux input for a Bluetooth receiver, TV, LP, CD, electric guitar, etc.
Note the chassis on this model is not the original but sounds well.

It measures 42.5”h x 27”w x 15.5”d, and absolutely commands attention wherever you put it – and that’s before you turn it on! It weighs 57 lbs.
Pick-up only on this radio. I can, however, hold it for you while you obtain shipping via either a courier, antique movers, or UShip, which seems to be the lowest cost.
