An outstanding Art Deco style radio by Crosley Radio Corporation. It is often referred to as the "Crosley American Overseas" due to the labeling on the huge and impressive dial. This radio is the Crosley 66TC and was first offered in September of 1945. It was originally scheduled to be part of Crosley's 1942 product line but was delayed until after the end of WW II. The beautiful wood cabinet has walnut veneer with a large double lit dial and side cutouts - just a beautiful design that has made this model extremely desirable with collectors.

The chassis is an outstanding and innovative design using 6 tubes and offering Broadcast (AM) and Shortwave (SW) bands with an interior loop antenna. The radio also has a connection for external antenna and aux  input. The radio measures 16"W x 10"H x 9"D.

It has had a complete electronics tune up with new capacitors; tubes and resistors checked and replaced as needed.
The dial belts are new for smooth motor operation and tuning. The chassis is clean and rust fee. The radio has very nice reception with no hum

It has a input jack on the chassis so you can connect your IPod, phone, LP , CD , electric guitar or other audio source.

Pick-up only on this radio. I can, however, hold it for you while you obtain shipping via either a courier, antique movers, or UShip, which seems to be the lowest price.
