Having trouble to decide the type of wood?   We recommend Osage Orange.   This wood has been prized for centuries in North America.   It is twice has hard and strong as white oak & 30% heavier.  Native Americans traveled miles for osage orange to make tools, war clubs, bows.   American settlers used the wood to make wheel rims and axle hubs for wagons.     This would is beautiful , warm and it will withstand 1000's of foot stomps.
