This silvertone radio from 1937 boasts a rare 10 tube chasis and AM-SW band, making it a desired find for radio enthusiasts. Its 40" tall cabinet is in its original finish and the replaced plastic escutcheon.

  • Large and impressive 10 tube   7 am Circuit onsole radio from 1937
  • Green Magic Eye
  • Unique Tele-Tuner
  • Cylinder Rotating Dial
  • Speaker Sound Direction Design
  • 3.5 mm Input for a Bluetooth receiver, TV, LP, CD, electric guitar, etc.   This aux input is controlled by tuning to a weak station or police band.

The chassis has been completely gone through. The tuner was removed, cleaned, and re-lubricated. All capacitors (except a few Mica) have been replaced, as well as all out-of-tolerance resistors, and all bad wiring. The tubes were checked, and any weak ones were replaced. The radio was then re-aligned to factory specifications and receives stations all across the dial.

The cabinet was cleaned and refinished to the original patina, re-stained, and various shades of  toner were applied. It was then given several coats of  lacquer.
